JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Rev. Dr. William Q. “Bill” McDaniel, age 79, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Fri., Dec.r 28, at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Clifford Taylor officiating.
Rev. McDaniel passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 in Tyler.
He was born July 1, 1933 in Jacksonville.
Rev. McDaniel was a member and associate pastor of Abundant Life Tabernacle in Jacksonville, a retired Staff Sgt. with the United States Army, member of the NRA, a master mechanic, and was a very generous and caring person.
He is preceded in death by his sister Margie Wood, and brother Mac McDaniel.
Survivors include his wife Alice McDaniel of Jacksonville; sons Brandon McDaniel of Jacksonville, and Charles McDaniel of Tyler; daughters Linda Taylor of Tyler and Alice Shields of Jacksonville; brothers Donnie McDaniel of Needville and Mickey McDaniel of Tyler; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from noon - 2 p.m. Fri., Dec. 28, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
