JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Dianne Matthews, age 69, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Vicky Griffin officiating.
Burial will be held at Watching Rock Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Matthews passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 in Tyler.
She was born December 5, 1942 in Houston, TX.
Mrs. Matthews was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville and was a homemaker. She owned and managed an apartment complex in Houston, was a licensed real estate agent, instrumental in home building, a former flight attendant, and had her private pilot’s license.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elvin Leroy Moore and Ethylinda Earline Fuller Moore, and sister Elaine Goodman.
Survivors include her husband Patrick Matthews of Jacksonville; sons David Matthews of Tyler and Chris Matthews and wife Lorin of Waco; sister Suzanne Harwell of Jacksonville; six grandchildren Gregory, Jennifer, Sterling, Allyarianne, Zayne, and Lacklan; and four great grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
