JACKSONVILLE —
Graveside services for Willie Ray Gray, age 82, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for Thurs., Oct. 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Stillwaters Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, with Rev. Eddy Secrest officiating.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mr. Gray passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 in Jacksonville.
He was born Aug. 29, 1930 in Cherokee County to Ben and Jessie Gray.
Mr. Gray was a member of The Church of Christ, New Summerfield, served in the U.S. Army and worked as a tool pusher in the oil field.
He was preceded in death by his son Bennie Gray.
Survivors include a daughter Elizabeth Smith of Jacksonville, sons Willie Gray, Jr. of Jacksonville, Michael Gray of Palestine and Timothy Gray of Jacksonville, a sister Gracie Cox of Ponta, former wife Maria Fitts of Jacksonville, Grandchildren; Steven Henderson of Jacksonville, Brandi Starkey of San Antonio, Thomas Sexton, Jr., Josie Gray, Christie Gray, Justin Gray and Brandon Gray all of Jacksonville, Paige Mooney of Nacogdoches, Rebecca Gray, David Michael Gray and Ashley Gray all of Lufkin, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
No visitation is scheduled
