JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Jean Powell, age 73, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, April 6, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Andy Cox officiating.
Mrs. Powell passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 in Jacksonville.
She was born January 6, 1939 in Rusk, TX.
Mrs. Powell was a Baptist and co-owner of Green Acres Plant Farm.
She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvan Lloyd and Lyndall Halbert Lloyd, step father Victor Gage, son Billy Jack Powell and brother Roy Lloyd.
Survivors include husband Jack Powell of Jacksonville; daughter Liz Kimbrell and husband Dwayne of Jacksonville; son Paul Powell and wife Kamye of Galveston; brother Kenneth Lloyd and wife Diane of Deer Park; sister Elaine Pruyn of Wilson, LA; brother-in-law and wife Billy and Ada Ruth Powell of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren Josh Powell, Heather Kimbrell, Drew and Shaina Kimbrell, Ashley and Johnny Kay, Jeana Kimbrell, Madison Powell and Brady Kimbrell; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Kimbrell, Brady Kimbrell, Johnny Kay, Josh Powell, Ricky Brown, and Pat Pittillo.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
