JACKSONVILLE —
Cleo P. Christian Stephens, 95, retired Fort Worth ISD teacher, longtime resident of Stop Six Community in Ft. Worth, a native of Ironton, Cherokee County, Texas, died Fri., Nov. 2, 2012, at a nursing center in Plano.
Service: Noon Fri., Nov. 9, at Historic Greater St. James Baptist Church, 210 Harding St., Ft. Worth. Interment: Ragsdale Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Chapel, 5224 Ramey Avenue, Ft. Worth, Texas.
Cleo was the third child of the late John and Martha Christian. Cary Stephens, her husband of over 65 years, preceded her in death. No children were born to their union.
Survivors: Her nieces and nephews, Ora Taylor of Tyler, Hertha Echols, Harnell Williams (Lester), Orethann Price and John Echols, Dallas,Tx; George Christian of Pittsburgh, Calif; great-nieces and great-nephews, French L. Taylor, III, Dallas, LaNetia Taylor, North Richland Hills, Jory Freeman Echols, Lancaster, William Tyler Echols of Plano; cousin, Geraldine Shanks Williams, Fort Worth, Frances Rosewell, Caregiver, Cynthia Williams, Home Health Care Assistant, other relatives and friends.
