JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Charles Ray Dement, age 78, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, February 15, 2013 at Autry Funeral Home chapel in Jack-sonville with Robbie Arrington officiating.
Burial will be held at Still Waters Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville.
Mr. Dement passed away Monday Feb-ruary 11, 2013 in Tyler.
He was born April 2, 1934 in Gallatin, TX.
Mr. Dement was a member of the Rusk Church of Christ, where he was very active, served in the United States Army, and was owner of C. Ray Dement Construc-tion, and B & R Emu Farm.
He is preceded in death by his parents E. V. and Jessie Dement, and brother Ronald Dement.
Survivors include his wife Bonnie De-ment of Jacksonville; daughter Beverly Per-ry and husband Tim of Ben Wheeler; sons Ray Dement Jr. and wife Denice of Crosby and Jamey Dement and wife Amy of Mt. Selman; sisters Linda Swann and husband Reagan of Lufkin and Joan Young of Gallatin; seven grandchildren Allison Way and husband Randy, Jason Dement, Jana Delaney and husband Chas, Dereck Dement and wife Nicole, Kayla De-ment, Tanner Perry and Hunter Perry; six great-grandchildren Madison Gilmore, Eli Way, Wyatt Delaney,
Dakoda Dement, Tatum Dement and R. J. Perry; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, grandsons-in-law and Deacons of the Rusk Church of Christ.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Ev-rage, Billy Guinn and Deacons and Elders of the Rusk Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, Feb-ruary 14, 2013 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
