Funeral services for Keith Van Cleave, age 56, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sun., Dec. 9, at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Vernon Lee and Rev. Eric Johnson officiating.
Burial will be held at Meador Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Keith passed away Fri., Dec. 7, 2012 at his home in Jacksonville after a short bout with cancer.
He was born March 29, 1956 in Marlin, Texas.
Keith was a graduate of Jacksonville High School, a member of JPA, and a master welder. He was a Christian and the most loving uncle ever.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Jean Ruth Van Cleave and a brother Dwayne “Bubba” Van Cleave.
Survivors include his wife Melissa Van Cleave of Jacksonville; father Kenneth D. Van Cleave of Jacksonville; brothers Richard Van Cleave and wife Lujene of Arlington and Dale Van Cleave and wife Sheilia of Jacksonville; sisters-in-law Khristie McCown and husband Andy and LeAnn Blake and husband Marvin, both of Jacksonville; brother-in-law Jason Price and wife Staci of Jacksonville; mother-in-law Sue Price of Jacksonville; father-in-law Buddy Price of West Point, CA, aunt Susie Russell and husband Chuck of Georgetown; uncle Osa Harris and wife Alice of Houston, numerous nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and many other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Andy McCown, Colten McCown, Carter McCown, Mitchell Blake, Marvin Blake, Lucian Price, Jason Price, and Brian Ransom.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Pavletich, Charles “Marty” McDaniel, Drew Van Cleave and Adam Van Cleave.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sat., Dec. 8, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
