Funeral services for Jessie Jones, age 83, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Sat., Dec. 29, at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Calvin Gould officiating
Burial will be at Jarratt Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Mrs. Jones passed away Tues., Dec. 25, 2012 in Jacksonville.
She was born July 12, 1933 in Maydelle.
Mrs. Jones was a retired waitress, and a member of East Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Jones, daughter Brenda Louise McDaniel, sisters Thelma Duggan and Helen Bybee, and parents Jess and Edna Langston.
Survivors include her daughters Marsha Morris and husband Jerry of Bullard, Sharon McClure and husband Larry of Jacksonville, and Marion Downum of Jacksonville; step-sons Gary Jones and wife Melinda of Corsicana, Jerry Jones of Corsicana, and Chris Jones and wife Vickie of Levelland; brother Jim “Sonny” Langston and wife Barbara of Longview; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joe Rocha, Cody Sorrell, Ty Sorrell, Rusty Sorrell, Randy Rocha, and James Lathrop.
Visitation will be from 4 - 6 p.m. Fri., Dec. 28, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
