Hubert Maurice Bobbitt

— On Wednesday, May 2,. 2012 our beloved Daddy Hubert Maurice Bobbitt went to be with the Lord and to meet up with his beloved wife, Theresia who left us on February 2011.

Mr. Bobbitt is survived by three loving and caring daughters: Sharon Purswell and her husband Randy of Kingwood, TX; Debbie Gray and her husband Ronnie of Houston; Connie Thompson and her husband Jim of Houston. Two granddaughters, Elaina Hartley of Magnolia, TX and her husband Lee; and Brande Gray of Deer Park, TX. He also leaves four great-granddaughters, two brothers Calvin and Wilbur of Rusk and three sisters: JoAnn Meador of Gallatin; LaQuita Dees of Ponta and Janeita Traylor of Tyler. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bobbitt was formally a resident of Coffee City until January 2011. At which time he moved to Tyler. In February of this year he moved to Kingwood to be nearer his children. We have the most wonderful memories spent with our beloved Dad over the years and especially during the last two years. It has been our joy and blessing to have been able to be with him during the later portion of his life.

We wish to express our gratitude to Garden Estates in Tyler and more recently the great folks at Regent Care in Kingwood, TX. With your loving staff, as well as the wonderful staff of fine folks with Compassionate Care Hospice, we don't know how we would have been able to give up our precious daddy if it had not been for your love and care. A special word of thanks goes to Paul, Jay, Karen and so many others at Regent Care in Kingwood and to Dee and Carolyn with Compassionate Care Hospice of Cleveland. Thank you for your loving support both to our Dad and to us during this time in our lives.

Boren-Conner is handling the arrangements. The funeral is schedules for Friday, Mary 4, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the chapel with visitation being one hour prior.
