Memorial services for Susan Irene Thompson, age 53, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, March 27, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, Jacksonville with Dr. Faulk Landrum and Rev. Kevin King officiating.
Mrs. Thompson passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in Jacksonville.
She was born July 20, 1955 in Strongsville, OH. to James and Hilda Black Goshorn.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Jacksonville and was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband Mark Thompson of Jacksonville; sons Erik Welch and Alex Thompson, both of Jacksonville; daughter Jill Welch of Austin; mother Hilda Goshorn of Pearland; sister Nancy Carrier and her children Tony and Lisa Padua of Houston; mother-in-law Mrs. George Thompson of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law Sarah Vardeman and husband Pat and their children Candace and James of Nacogdoches.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
