JACKSONVILLE —
Graveside services for Jeanne Mary Walker Kriel, age 82, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, July 6, 2012 at Jarratt Cemetery with Roger Burden officiating.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Jeanne Walker was born of February 15, 1930 in England. She married Pastor P.J. Kriel in 1952 and moved to Africa as a missionary. Together they established numerous churches and Bible Colleges. They had three daughters and one son: Susan, Ruth, Alison, and Andre. In 1978 they moved back to England where they established a Bible College in London. In July 1982 P.J., Jeanne and Andre emigrated from London to the United States where they began ministering in East Texas. P.J. Kriel passed away suddenly in 1996 at age 68. Jeanne took over the ministry until she passed away on July 2, 2012. She is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She will be fondly remembered for her compassion and dedication to the community and to her family.
