JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Truby Sachtleben Hooton, age 88, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville with Rev. Phillip Warren officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Hooton passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 in Jacksonville.
She was born March 26, 1924 in Harrison County, TX.
Mrs. Hooton was a member of Mixon First Baptist Church, was a homemaker, caregiver and was loved by all.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Dewey Hooton, sons James and John Hooton, parents Albert and Mattie Sachtleben, grandson Bernie Hooton, sister Sybil Grubbs and sister-in-law Mickie Sachtleben.
Survivors include her sons Gaylon Hooton and wife Jan of Jacksonville, Kenneth Hooton and wife Alana of Jacksonville, daughter Martha Hooton Senesac of Palestine; daughter-in-law Pam Hooton English of Huntington, brother Curtis Sachtleben of Shreveport; sister Faye Renfro and husband Bob of Smithland; special friend Ethel Terry of Jacksonville, seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bolton, Todd Travis, Paul Senesac, Russell Hooton, and Lewis Zieters.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
