RUSK —
Graveside services for Joe Mack Lanier, age 94, of Rusk, are scheduled for 10:00 am Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Tecula Cemetery, with Rev. Don Copeland officiating.
Mr. Lanier passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 in a Jacksonville hospital.
He was born February 19, 1917 and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Lanier, son Joe Earl Lanier and sister, Dorothy McMillian.
Survivors include wife of 19 years, Betty Lanier of Rusk, daughters Janice Poteet and husband, Chuck of Crockett, Lydia Wolfe and husband Steve of Broken Arrow, OK, sister, Hazel Waggoner and husband of Garland, brother-in-law, Paul McMillian of Austin, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on January 30, 2012, 6-8 pm at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
