RUSK —
Funeral services for Venita Joyce Lusk, age 77, of Rusk are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 in Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Copeland and Rev. Odis Bryan officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk.
Mrs. Lusk died March 28, 2012 in a Rusk Hospital. She was born June 19, 1934 in Rusk to the late Charlie Lee and Florrie Mae Phillips Sosby. Mrs. Lusk was a lifelong resident of Rusk and a member of Oakland Missionary Baptist Church. She was a lifelong caregiver to all her children as well as numerous children of the community.
