UVALDE —
Memorial services for David E. Womack, age 77, of Uvalde, formerly of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 12, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Rev. Robin Parsons officiating.
Mr. Womack died of illness on July 8, 2012 in Tyler.
He was born January 16, 1935 in Salem, TX.
He was retired from the Texas Highway Patrol with 34 years of service, and he was a Baptist.
Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his parents Hill and Minnie Womack of Troup, and a sister Lorine Rhodes, also of Troup.
Survivors include his wife Judy Womack of Uvalde; brother Sam Womack and wife Annelle of Tyler; daughter Janet McCoy of Jacksonville; sons David Womack of Jacksonville and Chris Weaver of Uvalde; three grandchildren Zack Womack of Corsicana, Rebecca Davidson of Arkadelphia, AR, and Ashley Weaver of Enid, OK; and two great grandchildren Haden Davidson of Arkadelphia, AR, and Emma Weaver of Enid, OK.
