Memorial services for Billy S. Gore, 77, Bullard, are planned for 2 PM February 25, 2012 at East Point Baptist Church FM 2088, Wood County and 3 PM February 26, 2012 at Trail to Christ Cowboy Church at 5858 W Hwy 79 Jacksonville, Texas.
Mr. Gore passed away February 16, 2012 at his home.
Billy Sherrel Gore was born February 21, 1934 in Little Hope, TX to the late James Edward and Callie Lorene Buck Gore. He had lived in Bullard for the last 19 years, moving from Gilmer. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of Trail to Christ Cowboy Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Jo Gore, son, Steven Douglas Gore, sister, Jimmie Charlene Phillips and step-son, Ed Newburn.
Survivors include his wife, Margueritte “Marjo” Gore, Bullard; children, Debra Dickerson, David Gore, James Gore, Tina Dykes, Kim Byrd, Sherry Artinger and Louis Newburn; brother, Ralph Gore; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
If desired, memorials can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
