JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Rogers William Johnston will be held Wednesday morning at 10 a.m., Oct, 17, 2012, at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. Lester Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery.
Rogers Johnston was born August 19, 1934, in Cherokee Co., TX to Clifton William and Eva Pope Johnston. He had worked as an air conditioning contractor and had lived in Jacksonville for many years.
Rogers Johnston passed away on Sun., Oct 14, 2012, at a Jacksonville nursing home at the age of 78. He is survived by a son, Ronnie Johnston of Spring Branch, a daughter, Shelia Isaacks of Coldspring, two sisters, Faye Marshall of Concord and Linda Sue Brazier of New Summerfield, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Wednesday morning until 10 a.m. service time at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
