JACKSONVILLE — A memorial service will be held for Clyde Don Murphy, age 62, of Jacksonville on Friday, May 4, 2012, at 4:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Rev. Marty Potts officiating. Clyde Don Murphy was born August 30, 1949 in Jacksonville to Clyde C. and Alma Murphy. He had resided in Jacksonville most of his life. He was employed as an equipment operator for Unimin, Corp. in Troup for the past 22 years. He attended the Bar None Cowboy Church. He passed away in a Jacksonville nursing home on May 1, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde C. and Alma Murphy. Don is survived by his family and friends at Unimin. He will be greatly missed.
