JACKSONVILLE —
William Franklin Fuller, a resident of Sanger, Texas since 1992, passed away Mon., Nov. 19, 2012 at age 79.
He was born June 22, 1933 in Jacksonville and preceded in death by his parents, William L. and Imogene Boaz Fuller. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Newton Fuller whom he married June 2, 1957 in Fort Worth.
He attended school in Jacksonville, graduating from high school in 1951. He attended and graduated from Texas A & M in 1955 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and as a Second Lieutenant in the Army, completing his service obligation as a Captain. He worked for the Halliburton Company for 38 years, finishing his career as World Wide Manager of Training and Personnel Development.
He was a member of the Krum United Methodist Church in Krum, Texas and a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas, being a descendant of William and Dorothy Richardson Adams, 1837 Republic of Texas Settlers.
Survivors are a son, Brian Newton Fuller and wife, Donna Cass of Austin. A daughter, Deidre Fuller Shanley and her husband, Reagan Shanley; granddaughter, Lindsay Shanley and grandson, Weston Fuller Shanley of New Canaan, Conn.
Visitation will be on Thurs., Nov. 29, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger, Texas. Graveside services will be at the Sanger Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 30.
