JACKSONVILLE —
Graveside services for Ruby Pearl “Tommie” Smith age 82, of Atlanta, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 29 at Grimes Cemetery, Jacksonville, with Paige Baize and Rev. Pat Phillips officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Smith passed away Mon., Nov. 26, 2012 in Atlanta.
She was born Sept. 17, 1930 in Maydelle, to Robert and Allie Sims Thomas. Ruby was a member of the Church of Christ and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, husband Cullen Smith, daughter Jackie Byler, brothers Roy and Milton Thomas, and granddaughter Shannon Reynolds.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Cathy and Roy Satterwhite of Atlanta, Pam and Martin Jones of Pollock, sister Rosa Mae Anderson of Jacksonville, sister-in-law Eloise Thomas of Jacksonville, grandsons Rodney Satterwhite and Dustin Jones, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be all day Wed., Nov. 28 at the funeral home, Jacksonville.
