JACKSONVILLE — Mary Lou Bowers Hamilton was born on January 16, 1938, and was called home by our Lord on April, 23 2012 at the age of 74. Mary Lou started working for GTE as a telephone operator and retired as a manager in Jacksonville Texas where she was raised. She spent her last retirement years in Ruidoso, New Mexico, with a view of the Sierra Blanca Mountains and the cold crisp air she loved. She is survived by her husband of 26 years Gerald , 1 sister Ruth, 2 brothers, Ron, and Gilbert, 3 sons Lance, Lane , Lonny, and Gerald’s 3 daughters, Linda, Mary Ellen, and Pam, 2 daughters in-law Cathy and Georgia, and 3 Son-in-law Tom, Joe, Shawn , 10 Grand Children and 10 Great Grand-Children. A memorial service will be held at Autry Funeral Home 1025 SE loop 456, Jacksonville, Texas, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 followed by a graveside service where Mary Lou will be placed with her mother Rita French at Rest Haven Memorial Park on Pineda St. in Jacksonville, Texas.
