LUBBOCK —
Zoe was born in Austin, Texas to Nick Linz and Elizabeth Saul Linz on September 21, 1923. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1940. She attended the University of Texas. Zoe married Michael Leo Leahy II July 3, 1944. She resided in Austin while Mike served in the Navy during WWII. In 1952 they moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, where he practiced dentistry until his death in 1981. Zoe was a true "Southern Lady.”
Zoe died April 15 in Lubbock, Texas and was buried April 20, 2012 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Elizabeth Leahy, and her beloved sister Mary Elizabeth Fallon. She is survived by daughters: Linda and husband Don Huffaker of Jacksonville, Texas; Zoe and husband Dr. Craig Bradley of Lubbock, Texas; son Col.(R) Michael Leahy III and wife Charlotte of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great-grand children.
