PALESTINE —
Funeral services for Ken Griffith age 81 of Palestine, TX, are scheduled for 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Dogwood Hills Baptist Church, Palestine with Pastor Kevin Willmott officiating.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Mr. Griffith passed away Saturday, April 2l, 2012 in Temple, TX.
He was born April 5, 1931 in Macon County, IL to Cham Griffith and Effie Green.
Mr. Griffith was a master carpenter and held a masters degree in human resources. He worked for Texas Instruments and U.S.I. He served in the Air Force.
He was preceded in death by a son, Philip Griffith.
Survivors include spouse, Ruthie Griffith of Palestine; children, Karen Griffith of Dallas, Georgianne and Rod Alerasoul of Murphy, Patrick and Laura Griffith of Austin, Timothy Smith of Florida, Troy and Fraley Smith of Goddard, Kansas, and Tiffany and Brad Jacobson of Jacksonville; sisters, Catherine Miller of Decatur, IL., and Harriet Meininger of Branson, Mo; 12 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
