Pansy “Curley” Martin

NEW SUMMERFIELD — Funeral services for Pansy “Curley” Martin, age 86, of New Summerfield, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville with Rev. Andy Cox, Jess Allen Martin and Angie Capps officiating.

Burial will be at Concord Cemetery, Concord Community.

Mrs. Martin passed away with her family by her side, Saturday, January 28, 2012 in a Tyler hospital.

She was born June 8, 1925 to Mack Tennison and Jewel Lacy.  She was a retired bookkeeper.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Florine Waldrup and Ann Payne.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 69 years, Jess O. Martin, of New Summerfield, son, Barry Max Martin of Lake Striker, daughter Sandra Kaye Lewis and husband, Nolan, of Longview, and a brother, Johnny Mack Tennison of Jacksonville, grandchildren Jess Allen Martin, Angie Capps and husband Tim and Chris Lewis and wife Amy, great grandchildren, Seth Martin, Darby Capps, Bryanah Capps, Brennan Lewis and Chance Lewis, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be William Waldrup, Johnny Mack Tennison, Phillip Waldrup, Nolan Lewis,  Jess Allen Martin, Seth Martin, Tim Capps and Chris Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012, from 6–8 pm at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
