RUSK — Funeral services for Mrs. Ottis Mandy Lloyd, age 92, of Rusk will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Boren-Conner Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. John Paul Little and Rev. Don Copeland officiating.
Burial will follow at Rocky Spring Cemetery under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Ottis was born January 14, 1920 in Rusk to Ples and Jewel Starkey Langston.
She was a housewife and a member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church. She died at her residence on May 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hugh Lester Lloyd, a son Donald Ray Lloyd, a daughter, Janice Gloria Casbeer, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Ottis is survived by three sons, Wayne Lloyd of Rusk, Travis and Elizabeth Lloyd of Gun Barrel City and Marvin and Brenda Lloyd of Rusk, a daughter, Dwana Jackson of Canton, GA, a foster daughter, Betty DeLuna of DeSoto, TX, one sister, Inez Carlisle of Alvin, TX, fifteen grandchildren, Nita Schenk, Pam Murphy, Travis Mitchell Lloyd, Alice Coleman, Sammie Cody, Marvin Don Lloyd, Sharon Smith, Jeannie Ochoa, Charlotte Haynie, Wanda Brown, David Jackson, Beth Russell, Lisa Wood, Bobby Ray Casbeer and Ruth Ann Cotton, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Don Lloyd, Tony Dibrell, Raymond Dibrell, Jacky Dibrell, Wesley Wood and Bill Dibrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Murphy, Michael Murphy and Chris Lloyd. Visitation was 6:00 to 8:00 Monday evening at Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
