Funeral services for Candi Baty, age 36, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, September 17, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home chapel,  Jacksonville with Dr. Darin Wood and Rev. Steve Edwards officiating.

Burial will follow at Old City Cemetery, Jacksonville.

Candi Baty was born August 9, 1976 in Pasadena, TX and passed September 12, 2012 surrounded by her family and loved ones, after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.  Candi was a daughter, sister, aunt and a beloved and cherished person to all who knew her.  The only thing bigger than Candi’s personality was the love and compassion in her heart for everyone she knew.  Candi enjoyed spending time with her family and going to gospel concerts.  Candi possessed a child like faith and a strong relationship with her Lord Jesus Christ.  Even though we know it was the Lord who called Candi home our hearts still ache for our loss but also rejoices for heavens newest gift.

Survivors include her parents Nathan and Linda Baty of Jacksonville; brother Jason Baty of Jacksonville; sisters Michelle Murray and husband Jimmy of Jacksonville and Brandi Thurman and husband Karl of Mt. Selman; nieces Ashley and Kelsey; nephew Nicholas; aunts, uncles and several cousins.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
