JACKSONVILLE —
Funeral services for Billie Sue Bounds, age 86, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home chapel in Jacksonville with Rev. James Blaylock officiating.
Burial will follow at Jarratt Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Bounds passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 in Tyler.
She was born May 24, 1926 in the Turney Community near Jacksonville, TX.
Mrs. Bounds was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Jacksonville and was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband I. A. Bounds, son Billie Neal Bounds, sisters Pat Moore, Betty Jo Turney and Pansy Sheppard, and brothers Keith Turney and Frank Turney.
Survivors include her sister Brenda Foster and husband Donny of Jacksonville; sisters-in-law Mary Turney Woolery of Jacksonville and Joy Francis Smith and husband Dr. Jerry Smith of Houston; brother-in-law Jimmy Sheppard of Terrell and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
