JACKSONVILLE —
“Where's Gallo,” a new contest in which two lucky readers can claim a $50 gift card to Super Gallo Mercado if they find a rooster symbol printed in the Saturday edition of the Jacksonville Daily Progress, launches Jan. 19.
“We wanted to give back to the community, and thought this would be a fun way to show our appreciation,” said store manager Tony Wilburn.
A total of $100 worth of groceries will be offered each week, excluding tobacco and alcohol products.
Two symbols will be printed each week “in a random spot in the paper, so people will really have to look for it, because it can be anywhere,” Wilburn said.
Lucky winners can take their papers to Super Gallo, located in Suite 200 at 1009 S. Jackson, in Jacksonville, to claim their award.
