Almond Tree holds Valentine bake sale

JACKSONVILLE —

The Almond Tree Community Resource and Training Center will host a “Have a Heart” Valentine’s Day bake sale Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1508 E. Rusk St. in Jacksonville. Valentine’s Day corsages will also be sold at the bake sale.

The Almond Tree is a non-profit organization that helps individuals and families become self-sufficient through transitional housing, job skills training and job placement. Revenue from the fundraiser will go to low-income individuals and families in the community.

The Almond Tree also accepts in-kind donations, which are tax deductible. For more information call 903-284-6202 or visit www.almondoutreach.org.
