Bullard woman set to graduate from TJC’s VNE program

Kimberly Sulser, of Bullard, will be one of 21 students in the Tyler Junior College vocational nursing education program to receive pins during a ceremony 7 p.m. Wednesday in Wise Auditorium on the TJC main campus.

Kay Devereux, VNE department chair, will give introductions. TJC President Dr. Mike Metke, Provost Dr. Homer Hayes and Paul Monagan, dean of allied health and nursing, will welcome the candidates and guests. Devereux will certify the class, present the candidates for pinning.

The graduates will recite the vocational nursing pledge led by professor Genny Kilgore. The invocation will be given by graduate vocational nurse Colita Starks, and graduate vocational nurse Renee Gandy will give the benediction.
