BULLARD — Bullard City Council will hear and discuss presentations from Champion EMS and East Texas Medical Center EMS regarding the emergency medical services contract at its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bullard City Hall.
The council members will also discuss and act upon appointments and reappointments to the Bullard Economic Development Council, and receive and act upon information regarding the Hugh Goodpasture auditing contract for the fiscal year ending September 2009. They will discuss and act upon rewarding the bid for repair of manholes, which was tabled Oct. 13, and discuss and act upon a JAG Grant Resolution Revision naming the city manager authorized official in regard to the grant.
Also at Tuesday's meeting, the council will discuss and act upon making a $1,600 payment to Capco Engineering for installation of storm sewer pipe along Rather Street. They will discuss and act upon a resolution casting a vote for the Cherokee County Appraisal District Board of Directors.
The Bullard Rotary Club will present a check to be used toward the city's comprehensive plan.
Mayor Teresa Adams-Wilks and City Manager Larry Morgan are both scheduled to speak about a meeting regarding extraterritorial jurisdiction. The mayor will also report on the future comprehensive plan and a meeting regarding problem solving in a local subdivision. Morgan will talk about a green energy grant, sewer permit process and a recycling bin grant award.
The council will also hear a report from the police department, a financial report by Randy Gorham, a report on current and future water needs from City Engineer Brian Capps and monthly work report from Utilities Director Mark Barker.
