Graveside services for Jay Dennis, 58, of Bullard, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Resthaven Memorial Park, Jacksonville.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mr. Dennis passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in Shreveport, La.
He was born Oct. 6, 1951, in McKinney, Texas, to Donald Irving Dennis and Reba Rudd Dennis.
Mr. Dennis was a Methodist, served in the U.S. Army and was an oilfield worker.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Donald Irving Dennis Sr.; daughter, Amanda Dennis; and father-in-law, Pat Loftin.
Survivors include wife of 30 years, Barbara Dennis, of Bullard; mother, Reba Dennis, of Tyler; mother-in-law, Betty Loftin, of Jacksonville; daughters, Jill Dennis and Lauren Dennis, of Bullard; brothers, Don Dennis and Robert Dennis, of Bullard; brother-in-law, Randy Loftin and wife Jo Ann of Whitehouse; sister-in-law, Leigh Ann Lewis and husband David of Bastrop; and several nieces and nephews.
No visitation is scheduled.
