In compliance with Education Code 11.251, Jacksonville Independent School District annually establishes a districtwide educational improvement council comprised of campus- and district-level professional staff, parents, community residents and business representatives. The purpose of the DEIC is to advise the board and superintendent (or designee) on the planning, operation, supervision and evaluation of the district’s education program.
