JACKSONVILLE — Jacksonville police officers broke up a fight in the 500 block of Johnson Street at about 1 p.m. Saturday, Detective Sgt. Daniel Franklin said.
“Officers responded to a disturbance on Johnson and observed a group in the middle of the road fighting,” Franklin said. “They attempted to break it up and had to pepper spray a few subjects.”
Franklin said the commotion was dispersed and two individuals were taken into custody. Marcus Williams, 19, of Jacksonville, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct - fighting. His bond was set at $1,000 and he was cited.
Tristen Bell, 20, of Jacksonville, was arrested, charged and cited for disorderly conduct - fighting.
