JACKSONVILLE — Progress staff reports
There were no injuries reported following a two-vehicle accident outside Lon Morris College Friday morning. It happened on College Avenue after 8 a.m.
Police officers investigating the accident said it involved Lindsey Langham, 23, of Jacksonville, in a blue 2007 Suzuki Forenza. It also involved Tasha Berry, 25, of Jacksonville, in a red 2002 Dodge Stratus.
Authorities said Langham, traveling westbound on Sunset Avenue, failed to yield right of way at a stop sign as Berry traveled south on College. They struck head-on, Berry’s front driver portion and Langham’s front passenger portion colliding and sustaining moderate to severe damage.
No injuries were reported and both people involved refused medical transport. Officers said Langham was cited for failure to yield right of way and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
