JACKSONVILLE —
Jacksonville police officers are on the lookout for a man suspected of robbing Payless Shoe Source in Jacksonville Thursday.
According to preliminary police reports, the alleged incident occurred at around 11:30 a.m.
Responding officers stated the suspect is a thin, white male between the ages of 30 and 40.
Authorities stated he entered the shoe store brandishing a revolver and demanded cash.
Officers stated he made no threats and none were injured in the robbery.
The store clerk was the only other person inside at the time of the robbery.
Officers said the man made his getaway on a motorcycle with an unspecified amount of cash from the store.
Witnesses at a nearby Subway restaurant stated the motorcycle had one or more American flags on it.
