The 10th annual 3-Day Thaw motorcycle rally kicks off today at the Double P Arena in New Summerfield.
The rally, organized by the Longriders Motorcycle Club of Tyler, continues Saturday and Sunday and includes a bike show, fun runs, games, lots of children’s events and a church service with Pastor CC on Sunday morning. One of the biggest draws the rally features is the national Port-a-Potty Drag.
Tonight’s live entertainment is A Dazed Decision. Saturday night Sweet Pain and Without A Doubt will be live in concert. Entertainment is provided by Boogie Butt Productions.
The Longriders M/C is a sanctioned Texas Motorcycle Rights Association club.
Events are open to all motorcycle riders and the general public. Admission is a $20 donation; children ages 16 and younger get in free.
No 3- or 4-wheeled ATVs, pets, weapons or attitudes will be allowed in to the event.
Double P Arena is located behind the Valero station at the intersection of U.S. Highway 79 and State Highway 110 in New Summerfield.
