JACKSONVILLE —
The deadline to register for “Be True to Who You Are,” a county-wide 4-H Fashion Project Area competition, is 5 p.m., Jan. 31, said Cherokee County extension agent Wendi Green.
Categories for the Feb. 16 contest and workshop include a fashion show, construction, buying, storyboard and Windows Wow'ed, a window display contest implemented three years ago.
While the contest has been held at various sites, location of the 2013 competition has yet to be determined, Green said. A district-level contest is slated April 27 at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, she added.
However, updates will be listed on the website, http://cherokee.agrilife.org, or contact Green at 903-683-5416 or email her at wgreen@ag.tamu.edu.
