RUSK —
The Rusk city council will consider several different financial contracts at its meeting today at 5 p.m. in the Rusk city council chambers.
The council will hear a presentation from bond advisors regarding refinancing of city bonds and potentially issuing new bonds for city projects.
Members will hear and possibly act on a request from the Kampgrounds of America (KOA) for early payment and reduction in principle on a loan from the city.
The council may approve a proposed ONCOR ROW franchise agreement and hear proposals for an electricity contract for the city. A modified contract with Allied Waste for hauling may also be approved.
A contract between the Texas State Railroad Authority and American Heritage Railways may also be approved for the operation of the Texas State Railroad and relating property.
