JACKSONVILLE — Dr. Joe Wardell, right, Jacksonville Independent School District superintendent, was introduced as guest speaker by Kiwanian Wayne Cessna at last Thursday’s luncheon. Dr. Wardell briefed the group on the rising educational achievement by several of the schools which include designation as Exemplary by four and two chosen as National Blue Ribbon Schools which places them in the top 1 percent in the state. He discussed in some detail the current Master Facilities Plan which may be presented in a bond issue this Fall.
