Birth Announcements for Oct. 1

Olivia Grace

Misty and RP Kelley proudly announce the birth of their daughter. Olivia Grace Kelley was born Aug. 17 in Dallas and weighed five pounds and 12 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Delane and Michael Davis of New Summerfield and Wayne Sanders of Troup. Paternal grandparents are Pamela and John Lake and Rodney and Debbie Kelley of Jacksonville. Great-grandparents are Dallas and Opal Coon of Arp, Bonnie Sanders of Troup and Frances Jayroe of Jacksonville.



Courtney Lane

Airman Ryan Cannon and Jennifer Sessions Cannon are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Courtney Lane Cannon, who was born at 6:56 p.m., Aug. 2 in Omaha, Neb. Courtney weighed seven pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 and-a-half inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Lanette Sessions King and the late Denny Ray Session. Paternal grandparents are Bill and Mary Cannon and the late Frances Cannon. Maternal great-grandparents are Hilda and Lane Ellzey, and paternal great-grandparents are Willie and the late Russell Bolton.

    Jacksonville First United Methodist Church recently held a 1OK/5K run benefiting the Cherokee County Cancer Relay for Life.  The event route, designed by Paul Travis and Greg Wade, was ran by 70 participants from several states.
