McMahon, Guinn marry


Sheli Ann McMahan of Princeton and Clint Folden Guinn of Gun Barrel City were united in marriage on Saturday, July 19. The outdoor wedding was held at the Pinnacle Club on Cedar Creek Lake at sunset.

Michael McKee, minister of youth at First Baptist Church-Gun Barrel City, officiated the ceremony.

The bride, daughter of David and Margaret McMahan of Princeton, is a 2000 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of North Texas. She is a science teacher and coach at both Mabank Middle and Mabank High schools.

Grandparents of the bride are Alice and Jackie McMahan and Bill and Janet Cave of Prosper.

The bridegroom, son of Gary and Cindy Guinn of Plano, is a 1999 graduate of Plano East High School. He attended Washburn University in Kansas and graduated from Texas A&M; at Commerce in 2003. He is employed as a coach and teacher at Eustace High School.

Grandparents of the groom are Billy and Betty Guinn and Wilson and Joyce Folden of Jacksonville.

Attending the bride were her sister and brother, Kathryn and Levi McMahan.

Serving as best man and groomsman were brothers of the groom, Barry Guinn of Plano and Brett Guinn of Norman, Okla.

Flower girl was the niece of the groom, Brooke Ann Guinn of Plano.

The beautiful candle-lit reception was held at the Pinnacle Club following the ceremony.

After honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Gun Barrel City.
