Kristopher Chase Holman and Cortney Nicole Powell were married April 11, 2009 at The Legacy in Jacksonville, Texas.
Officiating was Rev. Mark Norman of Montalba, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Cliff and Kari Powell and Mike and Debbie Leinback of Jacksonville. She is the granddaughter of Billy and Ada Ruth Powell and Lewie and Nelda Lake of Jacksonville. Cortney is a graduate of Jacksonville High School and received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Tyler. She is employed as a registered nurse in the NICU with Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler.
The groom is the son of Kris and Patti Holman of Jacksonville. He is the grandson of Jane Holcomb of Jacksonville, Lloyd and Barbara Hanks of Poynor, and the late Kent Holman of Jacksonville. KC is a graduate of Jacksonville High School and received his associate degree from Trinity Valley Community College. He is presently self-employed.
Maid of honor was Katie Arrington of Flint, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kara Laney of Nacogdoches, cousin of the bride; Erica Powell of Jacksonville, sister-in-law of the bride; Carey Powell of Jacksonville, sister-in-law of the bride; Kourtney Bruno of Jacksonville, friend of the bride; Brandy Bannister of Jacksonville, sister of the groom; Courtney Lawrence of Flint, friend of the bride; Sarah Martin of Rusk, friend of the bride; and Christie Hanks of Poynor, cousin of the groom.
Best men were Brandon Powell of Jacksonville, brother of the bride and friend of the groom and Justin Holman of Jacksonville, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jason Powell of Jacksonville, brother of the bride; Jordan Powell of Jacksonville, brother of the bride; Brandon Simpson of Jacksonville, friend of the groom; Jamie Hanks of Poynor, cousin of the groom; Ben Terry of Jacksonville, friend of the groom; Cody Carroll of Jacksonville, friend of the groom; and Shaun Hanks of Poynor, cousin of the groom.

The reception was held at The Legacy, catered by Holly Rozelle. Music and entertainment was provided by Music Master’s of East Texas. Following a honeymoon in Key West, Florida the couple resides in Jacksonville.
