JACKSONVILLE —

Mr. and Mrs. John W. and Carolyn Raz of Ovilla, Texas announce the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Jo Raz, to Ian McGregor La Vigne, son of Mrs. Patricia La Vigne and the late Mr. Pierre La Vigne of Jacksonville, Texas. Sandra is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Lois Raz of Canton, Texas and Mrs. Lucille B. Ames and her husband the late Mr. Edward H. Ames II of Cedar Hill, Texas. Ian is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Austin and Helen La Vigne of New York, the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Marion O’Brien of New York and the late step-grandmother Mrs. Blanche O’Brien of Maryland. The couple will exchange vows on July 16, 2011 at Ovilla United Methodist Church in Ovilla, Texas. Sandra is a 1996 graduate of Midlothian High School and graduated with a B. S. in Information Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington. Sandra is employed by JPMorgan Chase as a Business/System Analyst. Ian is a 1995 graduate of Jacksonville High School and graduated with an Associate in Electronics Technology from Tyler Junior College. He is employed by Broadcast Works! as a Radio Broadcast Engineer.
