JMS boys take 3-of-4 from Lufkin Hudson

Lufkin —

LUFKIN — The Jacksonville Middle School 8th grade boys swept Lufkin Hudson on Thursday night, while the 7th graders split their games with the Hornets.

The 8th grade “A” team bombed the Hornets, 43-23, while the “B” team escaped with a 34-31 verdict over Hudson.

In 7th grade action, Hudson captured the “A” game, 34-29, while Jacksonville returned the favor in the “B” game, winning a defensive oriented affair, 17-5.

At 4 and 5 p.m. the 7th graders will play, with the 8th graders slated to play at 5 and 6 p.m.
