New Summerfield High School valedictorian Julie Suarez addresses her classmates during graduation ceremonies Friday night. The Class of 2009 included 38 students. A Tyler Junior College representative presented nine Top 10 Percent Scholarships totaling $36,000. Each student was awarded $4,000 each.
